Yay Friends

This was our signature pose back in the day... we never really knew why

 Meet my BFF Christine (a.k.a Chrissy)! We have pretty much been best friends since 4th grade and it has been a wonderful 10 years of friendship! We go to different colleges, but whenever we are reunited it feels like we were never apart.

I went shopping this weekend and fell in love with this skirt. Mostly because of the floral print, but I have also really wanted a skirt this length. My mom thinks it looks like a grandma skirt, but I love it so that's all that matters. Flowy skirts like this are perfect for hot summer days!

Mother's Day

I hope everyone is having a happy Mother's Day! We started off the day by making breakfast for mom, and then we walked around downtown. It was pretty cold outside today so I had to layer and wear my blazer, which coordinated nicely with my cheetah-print shoes that I love!

My wonderful, crafty mom made the necklace that I'm wearing from 3 of my old necklaces that I didn't really wear anymore. I love the way it turned out, and now I can get more use out of my old necklaces! Love you, Mom!!

Straw.

I have been on a mission to find the perfect straw hat, and I finally found one that I love! It is perfect for summer and I will definitely be wearing it all the time. I'm kind of obsessed...

May Flowers

I have not been able to post in a long time because my computer was broken, but it is fixed now so I am back to blogging! I am officially done with my sophomore year of college and home for the summer. It is crazy that I am halfway done with college already, but I think this summer is going to be great! I leave for London in a month (ahhhh I can't wait!!!) and until then I am just excited to spend time with my family and friends from high school.

This is probably my favorite sweater. I love how flowy and comfortable it is and I can pair it with so many different things. Also, it was my first time wearing shorts with tights and I can definitely say that I am a fan.

We are celebrating my sisters' birthdays tonight, so I'm looking forward to some funfetti birthday cake...
